Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)

This is therapy that explores your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and helps to change some of these to manage your problems. A key part of this is identifying the negative thinking patterns that you may feel trapped in, helping you to break free from these and to feel better.(BACP 2022).

My approach to CBT is to work collaboratively with you in identifying the issues which effect you in your life. We will work together to develop different ways of thinking about issues that effect you and in turn develop more effective strategies to help deal with the issues that effect you. CBT is evidenced to help with issues such as Anxiety and Depression, so if this is something you struggle with then this may be a helpful approach for you.

Fees

£45 per 50 minute session
